Beyond, an iconic rock band in Hong Kong, founded in 1983. Like their hero Sam Hui, they have always been identified with the people of Hong Kong, as reflected in their song compositions about social issues, pursuit of dreams, politics and peace.

Once an underground band, they moved up to the mainstream stage in Hong Kong and to all other parts of the world. They have been irreplaceable in the music scene since 25 years ago. Beyond emphasizes in making rock music. Their legendary member, Wong Ka Kui's 海闊天空 & 光輝歲月 are two of Beyond’s best known works.

Beyond stands out in the Hong Kong music industry due to the fact that they are one of the very rare groups who compose and write their own music. To date, Beyond has never recorded any covers in any of their album releases.
